Three days later, they sent it out anyway. Once I received it, I contacted Customer Service to request a return address label, and was told that I was responsible for the return cost. Each time getting the bottle in rock form (unusable). I had to call them after each order and have them send me another one. After the third time i called them infuriated and asked them to send me another one for the third time. They did and sent me ANOTHER bottle in ROCK form!!!...I couldnt believe it!!!!...That place must be ran by a bunch of idiots. I will never EVER recommend anyone to them again!!...waiting to get my money refunded.	Overall Rating

When I got serious heartburn and felt nauseated after taking some of their vitamins, I thought that perhaps I should have had a bigger lunch so the vitamins would absorb better. It wasn't until I tried my daughter's chewables (that they would not allow me to return) and realized that they had turned, become sour, and tasted revolting, that I knew Vitacost either brokers in out of date merchandise or does not have access to an airconditioned warehouse for their merchandise. DO NOT USE THEIR VITAMINS. YOU COULD GET REALLY SICK. With all of the high-powered formulas that could be chemically altered in a 140 degree warehouse over a period of months, you could poison yourself as I did. Shop locally if possible.	Overall Rating

If there is a problem with you order (for example a box is damaged in transit and returned to Vitacost). We 1) do not contact the customer to tell them of the problem... we'll let them wait thinking things are coming for awhile and figure it out later 2) we won't automatically reship these items either, we know you still want them, but we will just refund your CC and say nothing. Their shipping department is in such disarray the items in your multi-box shipment in no way resemble the actual items in the box. So, when that 3rd out of 4 box order gets lost, they refund what they INCORRECTLY THINK was in that box. Needless to say, its' a comedy of errors... but sad to say there's nothing funny about it. You save if you're getting like 2 items and thats it. Anything more and it takes so much time getting it all straightened out your time value exceeds your savings. Avoid this one!	Overall Rating

They carry the numerous brands of vitamins I buy including New Chapter, Nordic Naturals, Twinlab, Nature's Way, Jason Naturals plus I love their NSI brand Coenzyme Q10, it is about 70% less expensive when compared to Whole Foods, GNC and other retailers. Overall on my orders I save about 50%. They also have 24 x 7 x 365 toll free customer service based in America and they have two distribution centers, one in NC and one in UT so orders arrive very quickly within 2 - 4 days. I also love the fact they have eight medical doctors who formulate and review products and provide the best science based information for free. They were aware there was a leak in one or more of the bottles because they put them in a ziplock bag (they never did that before). There was fish oil all over the bottles and in the bag. On 04/12 at approximately 9:30 AM EST, I ordered the item, electing one-day, overnight air shipping. When I checked the order status on the morning of 04/13, it was listed as *not shipped*, and the item was listed as no longer available. Live help informed me that the order would be cancelled as the company would no longer carry the item. I feel scammed. They now have my credit card info, and I am sure I will be getting plenty of junk email from them. Maybe it was a good idea for them that went bad, but nevertheless……	Overall Rating

This is because they were so prompt and friendly in correcting the problem that it really was much less of an issue than it could have been. I gave a lower score on the packaging because I thought their second shipment had excessive packaging - a small item came in a huge box. They could have just shipped it in a padded envelope which would have been kinder to the environment. I am very satisfied with my overall experience and would definitely buy from them again.
